South Holland Independents are voted in by you to act on your behalf. Our primary role is to support the ward we are elected into.
As a group of independents we will work together for the benefit of South Holland especially in the following areas of interest:
- District
- Tackle fly tipping
- Improved leisure facilities
- Improved market provision
- Challenge bad decisions – The road to nowhere
- Improve street cleanliness
- Resolve derelict building issues
- Tougher stance on ASB
- Improving access to coastal facilities
- Collaborative working with Parish Councils
- County
- Pot hole repairs
- Improved domestic waste facilities
- Boost Trading Standards results
- Improve highways, especially areas of flooding
- Improve animal welfare – dog theft, unsolicited fireworks
A word on Manifesto’s
The South Holland Independents are unable to obtain a majority at County or National level so will never produce a manifesto for those elections.
In place of that the South Holland Independents will promise:
- To put the voter first and to act in your best interest
- Vote the best way for our area not a party
- Hold the ruling party to account
- Work hard for South Holland residents
- Ensure your voice is heard
